Advertising & Sponsorship Disclosure
Last updated Oct 14, 2026
xhealthnetwork is published by Caresoft Systems Private Limited, Mumbai, India. We make money from advertising, sponsored content, enhanced listings, job postings and report sponsorship.
This page explains exactly what that buys, what it does not, and how you can tell the difference on every page.
The rule everything else follows from:
You should never have to wonder whether what you are reading was paid for. If money changed hands, it says so — at the top, in plain words, before you read it.

1. The wall
Our newsroom decides what we cover. Our commercial team decides what we sell. Neither tells the other what to do.
- Advertisers and sponsors do not see editorial content before publication and have no right of review, approval or veto.
- Editorial staff are not compensated on advertising revenue, and commercial staff have no editorial authority.
- An advertiser's status has no bearing on whether we cover them, how we cover them, or where they appear in a ranking.
- If an advertiser asks us to kill or soften a story, we will refund the campaign rather than agree, and we may report that the request was made.
- If we cover an advertiser critically, that is normal. It does not entitle anyone to a refund.

4. How we label it
Every piece of paid content carries a label that is:
Clear — in plain English. "Sponsored", "Advertisement", "Promoted", "Paid post". Never vague terms like "Partner", "Spotlight", "Featured Insights" or "Brought to you by" on their own.
Prominent — above the headline, in a contrasting block, in a size you cannot miss.
Before the content — you see it before you start reading, not at the bottom.
Persistent — it stays on the page as you scroll, appears in the URL path, and travels with the item into search results, social cards and the newsletter.
- Sponsored items live at /sponsored/ URLs and carry a
sponsoredattribute on outbound links. - The sponsor is always named. We do not run paid content for an undisclosed party.
- Sponsored items are excluded from "Latest" and "Most read" and are visually distinct from editorial throughout.
- Where a sponsored item appears in search or on social, the label travels with it.
5. Sponsored content
- Written or supplied by the sponsor, or written by our commercial content team — never by the newsroom.
- No xhealthnetwork journalist writes sponsored content, and no sponsored content carries a journalist's byline.
- Labeled Sponsored with the sponsor named, and it does not use our editorial article template.
- We review it against §14 and §15 before publication and will refuse or require changes.
- Not indexed as news, excluded from editorial feeds, and absent from the Latest list.
- Sponsored content remains the sponsor's statement. Publishing it is not endorsement.
6. Sponsored reports
A sponsor funds a report. A sponsor does not shape it.
- Research design, methodology, data collection, analysis and conclusions are entirely ours.
- A sponsor may: suggest a topic area, be named on the cover, include a message clearly marked as theirs, and receive registrant details where disclosed on the download form.
- A sponsor may not: see findings before publication, change a number, remove an unflattering result, veto publication, or require that competitors be excluded.
- Sponsorship is disclosed on the cover, in the summary, and in the footer of every page.
- If a sponsor withdraws because they dislike the findings, we publish anyway and note that the sponsorship was withdrawn.
- Where sponsors receive registrant details, you are told before you submit the form — Privacy Policy §13.
7. Marketplace and enhanced listings
- Base directory listings are free and editorially compiled, or submitted by vendors and reviewed by us.
- Vendors may pay for enhanced placement, richer media or featured positioning, marked Promoted and visually distinguished.
- Paying does not change a vendor's inclusion, exclusion, or any assessment we publish about them.
- Default sort order is editorial or alphabetical, never by spend. Where a view is sorted by promotion, the page says so.
- "Vetted" or "verified" badges mean only what the relevant page says they mean — Terms §10. They cannot be purchased.
8. Rankings are never for sale
No ranking position on xhealthnetwork has ever been sold, and none ever will be.
Rankings are produced by the newsroom under a published methodology. The commercial team is not told results before publication, and advertisers get no advance notice of where they placed.
- Methodology, data sources and limitations are published with every ranking.
- Advertising status is not a variable in any methodology, and we do not exclude non-advertisers.
- We will not accept advertising conditional on a ranking outcome, and will decline the money.
- A ranked organization may contest the data under the Corrections Policy. Disagreeing with the methodology is not a correction.
- Rankings are editorial opinion, not certification — Terms §8.
9. AI tools directory
Regulatory notations are never sponsored, never purchasable, and never adjusted for a paying vendor.
Where we note that a tool is FDA-cleared, that reflects the public FDA record and cites the submission number. A vendor cannot buy that notation, buy a more favorable description of it, or buy its removal from a competitor.
A vendor may pay for enhanced placement, marked Promoted. Everything factual in the entry remains ours — Terms §9.
10. Job postings
Postings are paid placements by employers and are presented as such. xhealthnetwork does not endorse any employer or verify a posting's accuracy, and we never charge job seekers — Terms §12.
11. Events
- Event listings may be free or paid. Paid listings are marked Promoted.
- Where xhealthnetwork is a media partner, that relationship is disclosed on the listing.
- Where we host an event with a sponsor, it is Presented by [sponsor name] and the sponsor does not control the agenda or speaker selection.
- Editorial coverage of an event is independent of whether it was a paid listing.
12. The Daily Grid
- Newsletter sponsorships are clearly labeled within the email, in a block visually distinct from editorial copy.
- Sponsors do not see the newsletter before it goes out and have no influence on which stories lead.
- We do not write a sponsor into editorial copy, and do not place a sponsor message where it could be mistaken for a headline.
- We do not sell or rent our subscriber list — Privacy Policy §14.
13. Affiliate links
xhealthnetwork does not currently use affiliate links or earn commissions on purchases made through the Site.
If that changes, every affiliate link will be clearly labeled at the point of the link and disclosed at the top of any article containing one, and this section will be updated before any such link is published — not afterwards.
14. What we will not run
We decline advertising and sponsored content that:
- is misleading, unsubstantiated, or makes claims the advertiser cannot support;
- claims an FDA clearance, approval, certification or compliance status the advertiser does not hold, or overstates its scope;
- makes clinical efficacy claims the cited evidence does not support;
- is designed to be mistaken for editorial content, or imitates our article layout;
- promotes unapproved uses of drugs or devices;
- targets patients with claims about treatment outcomes;
- disparages a named competitor without substantiation;
- is for a product or service unlawful where it is promoted;
- uses a xhealthnetwork ranking, logo or coverage to imply our endorsement;
- discriminates on any basis protected by law;
- comes from an undisclosed party.
We may remove a paid placement at any time if it turns out to breach this section, and the fee is not refundable where the breach was the advertiser's.
15. Claims in paid content
An advertiser is responsible for substantiating every claim it makes. We ask for evidence where a claim is material — particularly regulatory status, certifications, clinical outcomes, customer counts and comparative claims.
- Advertisers warrant their claims are accurate and substantiated, and indemnify us — Terms §28.
- Testimonials and endorsements must reflect genuine experience and disclose any material connection.
- Where we later learn a claim in paid content was false, we remove it and publish a note saying it was removed and why.
16. Our own interests
xhealthnetwork is published by Caresoft Systems Private Limited, which sells healthcare software — primarily in India and other markets outside the United States.
Where we cover a company that competes with, partners with, or is a customer of Caresoft, we disclose it in the story itself — not only here.
- Caresoft's commercial interests do not determine what xhealthnetwork covers, and Caresoft's sales team has no editorial input.
- Coverage of a company that advertises with us, sponsors a report, or lists in our marketplace carries a disclosure line in the article.
- Coverage of an event we host or partner on carries a disclosure line.
- Where a Caresoft director, officer or staff member has a material personal interest in a company we cover, that is disclosed in the story and the person takes no part in the coverage.
- Our Editorial Standards cover gifts, travel, outside work and conflicts in more detail.
17. The rules behind this
This policy is written to the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on native advertising and endorsements — the Enforcement Policy Statement on Deceptively Formatted Advertisements, the Native Advertising Guide for Businesses, and the Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
The test is simple: would an ordinary reader understand, before reading, that this is an ad? Everything in §4 exists to make the answer yes.
We follow these rules although we publish from India. Our readers are American, the FTC can act against foreign businesses affecting US commerce, and the standard is the right one regardless. As an Indian publisher we are also subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the ASCI Code, which point the same way on misleading and inadequately disclosed advertising.
Health-related claims are additionally subject to FDA regulation of promotional labeling and to substantiation requirements. Responsibility rests with the advertiser, but we decline content that fails §14 regardless.
18. If you think we got it wrong
If a piece of content looked editorial to you and turned out to be paid — tell us. That is a labeling failure and we want to fix it.
Write to [email protected] with the URL and what confused you. We review within 2 business days, fix the labeling immediately where you are right, and note the change under our Corrections Policy.
The same address takes reports of a claim in paid content that appears false, or an advertiser you believe is not what it says.
